Mayla

Mayla was Remi's dog, big and white and shaggy, big enough for a gnome to ride. She died before he ever came to Daggerford, and he carried her in his pack the whole way, along with vials of her organs. Under Death House he put her back together and she stood up undead, with the limbs that couldn't be saved replaced by whatever fit.

Petra rode on her back and asked why she was so cold. Mayla swam the black water without fear and died in the fight with the creature, bursting and hurting it as she went. By the time the party reached Barovia's church she was back, stitched together again, and it was Mayla who started digging at the floorboards over the cellar where Doru was hidden.

In the churchyard she chewed on a zombie like a squeaky toy. That night she slept across Ireena's door, and at two in the morning she was the one who heard the tapping at the window and woke the house.
