The Road Through the Fog

The road from the graves toward the village has no footprints on it, even in the rain. A dead man lies beside it pointing into the trees. The fog past him separates people within a few feet, burns in the lungs, and leads you back to where you started. Skeletons walk through it as if it isn't there.
